Baby Book
When I thought about how to design the photo album from Emily’s first birthday 3 day photo shoot, I thought pink and big. I designed a 10×14 album with PCL West that opens up to a very nice 10×28. When I thought about blogging the pages, I asked Sharon if she could take a couple of pictures of the book. I said, “If you can place the book next to something for scale, that would be great.” I think she did a fantastic job.
Baby Emily
I had met Sharon and Rick on their wedding day at the Nixon Library in Yorba Linda. About a year later, I got together with Sharon again for her Trash the Dress session with a couple of 11,000 pound African elephants. They live in Michigan and Sharon and I became dear internet and phone friends when she took up photography. I was very excited for her when she told me she was expecting child, and I flew back to Michigan in February 2010 to take some baby pictures. I spent a week out there taking pictures of Emily and Sharon gave me a photo tour around Detroit. Have you ever been?
Baby Ella
I have to confess, when I became a photographer, or at the very least a photo enthusiast, there were 2 things I said I would never do. One is shoot a wedding. Well that didnt go so good. The other thing I said I had no interest in shooting was babies, with the exception of my own of course. That only lasted till Lisa and Joe came home with Ella. The night before this shoot I surfed the web for baby picture ideas and tips. So my first baby went good enough for me to come back for 15 month photos. Here is a little of both.
Baby Noah
So I am hanging out with some friends making photography plans for their wedding day, and I thought I would try to snap a couple pictures of their baby. Well, of course Noah was more interested in the camera than having baby photos taken. Luckily I have 2 cameras. 1 for me to shoot with, and 1 for the kids to chew on.
