Franciscan Garden Wedding

She promised to be his best friend, he vowed to be her shoulder, in good times and bad.  With friends and family  surrounding them in circles, representing community, Michael and Jaclyn  celebrated their marriage vows. When I first met Jaclyn, she was a bridesmaid, in Erin and James Hoff’s wedding.  Our second meeting was in Venice beach, for her engagement photo session . That is where she and Michael told me their story, how they  met in a coffee shop. Love over a latte. The pretty bridesmaid, is now a radiant bride. All weddings are unique, just as the couples getting married are unique. But there are traditions that are interpreted within each celebration of a marriage, that have the ring of familiarity. Jaclyn and Michael’s celebration of their marriage vows was an elegant fresh take on those traditions.  At The Franciscan Garden in San Juan Capistrano they chose to get married  with their friends and family  surrounding them in concentric circles, to symbolize how their life is surrounded by the community that they share.  The guests poured sand together, to help build the foundation for their union. The vows they wrote for each other were deeply moving, and we all could feel, that it was so much more than love in the air. Thank you for letting us all share your day with you Jaclyn and Michael. And thanks to Courtney with CCS Designer Events for coordinating such a wonderful day.
